# Pymatgen - Python Materials Genomics

## Overview

Pymatgen is a comprehensive Python library for materials analysis that powers the Materials Project. ## Best Practices

### Structure Handling

1. **Use automatic format detection**: `Structure.from_file()` handles most formats
